Multi-level inline accumulators are suitable for bare products that are typically delivered in rows.
Multi-level inline accumulators consist of at least 3 stages to allow for reinsertion of stored products during production.
The different levels are fed upstream by a divergent switch and the products are delivered downstream by a convergent switch. In this configuration, the multi-level inline accumulator is FIFO (First In/First Out).
There is a FILO (First In/Last Out) version with a single switch and a set of conveyors that can operate in both directions.
Note: It is possible to have only two levels, but in this case it is not really a multi-level in-line accumulator but rather a two-level in-line stocker, as this solution prohibits the reintroduction of stored products during production.
The multi-level in-line accumulators are suitable for all types of fresh and frozen biscuits, pastries and cakes
